Analytics
We count page views with GoatCounter. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. It does not store your IP address or your full browser identifier. It keeps only totals: which pages were viewed, referring sites, browser, operating system, language, screen width, and country (worked out from your IP address). To tell one visit from another it briefly holds your IP address and browser identifier in memory, for up to 8 hours, and never writes them to its database.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this site. Like any web host, it sees your IP address and request details when you load a page, and it handles them on our behalf.
Security reports
Your browser may send a report to HeaderHawk when a page does something this site's security policy doesn't expect. A report can include the page address, the address you came from, your browser details and your IP address. HeaderHawk keeps reports for a limited time, from 15 to 90 days depending on plan, and says it doesn't use them to track people or sell or share them. We use them only to fix the site.
Badges on HAR Capture pages
The HAR Capture pages show badges for package version, downloads, test coverage and license. Your browser loads them from img.shields.io and codecov.io, so those services can see your IP address.
Stored in your browser
If you switch between light and dark themes, the site remembers your choice in your browser's local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.

Links to GitHub, PyPI and other sites take you off this site. Their own privacy policies apply.
